The second movie I watched in April, (the other one is East Evil and West Poison). At first, I went to see Sophie, and finally I was moved by Jeanne. It's a bit unbelievable that a woman at the bottom has grown up so beautifully under the baptism of war, but it's all true. Human potential is truly limitless.
The pity is that the movie was cut too well, and many local words flashed after half a sentence.
There was a scene where Jeanne and the colonel passed by in a restaurant, and the movie jumped to another scene immediately. The person next to me immediately said Jeanne was dead. We all laughed and thought so. I didn't know she was dead until I saw her getting in the car, which shows that the plot jumped too fast.
I know the movies are all cut, but I still like to watch them in the cinema, sitting in the last row.
