The whole film depicts the revolutionary epic where all classes make sacrifices for the revolutionary cause of the communists, and sings praises of the wisdom of the communists to make the best use of the situation, form a united front, and promote the revolutionary cause. The captured captives had no right or freedom to die, and could only endure torture until they collapsed and confessed. War can change a person's state of mind and destiny, but so can life. We just keep betraying our former selves. When we continue to betray the past, in the end, we cannot bear the burden that weighs on us.
