Thanks to eDonkey, I can see this good film faster even if I am not in China.
I still think about it after watching it. I was busy searching the list of movies I've watched to find a similar one, but I only found one that looked a little like it. My heart is stealing joy, the powerful combination of Du Boss and Wei Jiahui has created an all-round wonderful movie for Galaxy Impression.
First of all, the writers are amazing. A little bit similar to "The Detective" is "The Seven Deadly Sins". But they are similar only in theme, they are all about the original sin of mankind. The interpretation is completely different. "Seven Deadly Sins" cleverly uses independent characters to connect the theme of original sin, and "Detective" is even more unique, turning the original sin of human beings into human figures, vivid and very interesting. Some of my friends say Detective and Fight Club are similar, and I have reservations about that. Because the detective is not talking about split personality (if you understand it as split personality, you are misunderstanding it), but is talking about every ordinary person, you, me, him, different sides of the heart.
Secondly, he is also very discerning in casting, which is too successful. The detective played by Liu Qingyun is convincing. Trying to find Huang Qiusheng or Wu Zhenyu, who are also acting talents, to play this role is a bit too much. Because the temperament of the two of them is a bit evil, this will pull the distance between the detective and the normal person slightly. And Liu Qingyun has a kind of wise and foolish temperament (this was shown by Fang XX in the TV series "Big Times" earlier), so it is the best choice to choose Liu Qingyun to play the detective (I even doubt that the screenwriter is writing the script. I already thought about finding him to play.) Several supporting roles are also very good, especially the person who is used to play the prototype of the ghost in the heart. Everyone makes people think that he is the spokesperson of the original sin, such as Lin Xue's endorsement of greed + cowardice and conscience.
In the end, the ending that I have to say makes "Detective" a perfect ending, but it is thought-provoking. The last shot slowly moves up from the bottom, and finally forms a top-down perspective, as if a pair of eyes that understand the world are looking at all beings, watching you sing and I will appear.
Besides, the most difficult part of this film for me to let go and forget is the ear that was cut off. This scene happened at the beginning, and I, like everyone else, just thought it was just one of the manifestations of the detective's neuroticism. But when the detective revealed the reason, I was dumbfounded. The detective is like Van Gogh, who has extraordinary talent, but is not tolerated and misunderstood by the world. The detective can see the greatest evil in the world, but in his heart there is truth that is rare in the world. Therefore, when the boss who has no ghost in his heart is about to retire, the detective cuts off his own ear and gives it to him, which is really embarrassing.
Of course, there are also people who don't like the filming style of this film, and think it's rambling and unrealistic. But I feel that I should thank this film for making me think. After watching this film, I often wonder if I am a detective, will I be curious or unhappy. What kind of ghosts will breed in my heart when and where?
