In general, this is a popcorn movie. Just watch Le Yile, and you will soon lose your impression after watching it. Maybe I don't really appreciate these kind of exaggerated and artificial comedy movies. It's not funny to be funny for the sake of being funny.
The whole movie is about assassination, but you hardly feel too nervous, and the love you should have is casual and far-fetched. Such a film should not be logically reasoned, otherwise it will be very boring. After reading it, there will not be much worth thinking about and aftertaste. I still like movies with a certain depth of meaning.
Although Gary Grant is good at comedy, he doesn't need much real acting skills in this film. I heard that he had refused to act in several films with Hepburn, thinking that he was too old and inappropriate. This time he got what he wanted and let the heroine chase him back. I was thinking that at the beginning, Grant refused to cooperate with Hepburn. Except for their age difference, their temperament styles are actually not very close. Grant is a mature, funny and attractive actor image. Hepburn is such an innocent, beautiful, and princess-like girl, lacking the intellectual and charming temperament of mature women, and this temperament will attract each other. The lack of such a temperament will give people a sense of distance, which seems to be what people think of as a beautiful and pure princess in a distant palace.
Hepburn was in it, with an exaggerated expression and no sorrow for her husband's death, which made people fail to understand how she fell in love with this doubtful person. I feel she is not suitable for this kind of comedy.
Personally, I still like the British humor that is not so exaggerated, but humorous, and it can be memorable after reading it.
No matter what, it's okay to appreciate the actors. Grant is a bit old, but still moves quickly. If he plays a few years earlier, he will be more aura and charming. Hepburn still maintained her pure and elegant image, so thin, and her outfit and makeup set off her temperament.
