For me, who doesn't have much movie viewing experience and doesn't understand the language of movies, I choose to keep my mouth shut about the quality of the movie itself.
When it premiered, I wanted to watch it on the big screen, but I gave up because I was afraid. As a survivor of school bullying, this time watching the movie on the Mac side was like sitting on pins and needles. In the blink of an eye, nine years have passed, and those thoughts can only be thoughts, and I have never dared to treat them as stories. In the film, Chen Nian was stripped naked and slapped in the face, which made me cry like rain, and my heart was like a knife. The violence created by individual sins in the name of the collective gives the perpetrator a reason to downplay his own ugliness. He's just the one I cover my mouth while others strip me naked, and you're just the one of them who chooses to be silent when they take turns slapping me. Did any of those who chose to punch and kick me under the covers at night until I couldn't sleep again heard the sound of something breaking? Who among the students who choose to be silent will understand the meaning of silence? When justice is repeatedly absent and goodness is deliberately abandoned, only my silence remains. In silence, I will not forget, nor choose to forgive.
Now a teacher. Sometimes I can see the thoughts behind the innocent appearance of the children, the choices between good and evil, and they will no longer be regarded as innocent children. It is not that life has taught children badly, but that children with bad nature grow up being ignored by life. The light and darkness of their humanity never ceased to confront each other, which made the care from the adult world meaningful. Love is wise, hate is stupid. Teach your children to face their inner evil, selfishness and jealousy, laziness and hypocrisy, and then teach them how to deal with this fucking world.
When in reality no one can protect you from behind, don't be afraid and speak up. Be your own light and guard the kindness and hope in your heart.
