I've watched this movie many times, and I'm still moved every time.
It should be the earliest romance film about amnesia. I can't help but extrapolate the timeline of this love story and the ages of the hero and heroine every time.
In 1917, the male protagonist lived on the street after losing his memory, and was picked up by the female protagonist. About 3 years later, they got married and had children. Inheriting the inheritance and starting a business, and at the same time dating the second girl. About 12 years later, he decided to marry the second girl, but the second girl felt that he had someone else in his heart so he broke up. During this period, the female protagonist became the secretary of the male protagonist, but she was unable to tell the truth to the male protagonist (because she was worried that the male protagonist would not accept it). They went to trace the past of the male protagonist's amnesia together, but the male protagonist still couldn't remember anything. Disappointed, he made a request to the hostess for a marriage agreement (it's so stupid). 3 years later, they were recognized as a model couple. The male protagonist really fell in love with the female protagonist. This time it was his fault. The female protagonist seemed to always have someone in her heart, her ex-husband. He couldn't express his love because he made the agreement, and he thought the heroine didn't love him. The heroine couldn't speak either, the beloved was in front of him, but he just regarded himself as a partner.
In 2018, when the mystery was finally solved, I was relieved. Fortunately, it was not too late. They were not yet gray, and they could still live happily.
