Eighteen years later, Matsuda Ryuhei once again set foot on the red carpet at Cannes. This time it was a walking invader, and the last time was his debut work, Yufadu.
The film Yufadu has been on my computer for a long time and I haven't watched it. When the weather is hot, I have no mood at all, but I am still studying in Guangzhou (probably because I have a hole in my head when I fill in the volunteers...), and I finally started to watch this movie when the temperature finally cooled down.
The film mainly tells the uproar caused by a beautiful young man joining the Xinxuan group from the perspective of the earthwork. It's really a very obscure film. I watched it for the first time and it was full of mysteries. I read the movie reviews for half a night. I watched it again the next day, and carefully observed those I didn't understand before. The bridge section, and finally realized something.
(1) Why can't everyone refuse So Saburo?
So Saburo, played by Long Ping, is a bewitching young man with a strong swordsmanship but has a face like a good woman. When carrying out the task of beheading the erring team members, he did not hesitate. When he held up the head of the team member who had been killed, his hands did not tremble at all. The ruthless peach blossom eyes, "Ah, such a young man, everyone will be attracted to him." With such charm, it is no wonder that the members of the Xinxuan team who are licking blood from the knife edge fall for him. The people in the Xinxuan group like to kill and don’t refuse blood. The general manager and Tufang also had a chat, and the people attracted by the Xinxuan group had some lunatic cells in their personalities. , So Saburo's cruelty and indifference inspired their bloodthirsty desire and possessiveness. The beauty of So Saburo is not entirely the beauty of the skin, the beauty of blood and the blade of the blade happens to be the favorite of this group of lunatics.
(2) Who does So Saburo like?
I am afraid that everyone wants to know who So Saburo likes. At the end of the film, Hijikata thinks that So Saburo likes Soji. I doubt it. There is not a lot of communication between the chief secretary and the chief Saburo in the film. So Saburo still respects the chief secretary and calls him "teacher", and there is no liking in his behavior. Hijikata thinks that So Saburo likes the Chief Secretary, maybe he thinks that only this explanation can make him feel at ease, after all, the Chief Secretary is the most outstanding one in the new selection group. In my opinion, So Saburo loves no one, and at the same time he rejects no one. He joined the team to enjoy the thrill of killing. As for himself being a plaything in the eyes of the team members, he should be very annoyed. So when he killed Tashiro who was the first to woo him, he made a few more cuts. It is only because of the anger in his heart that Sozaburo, who has always been neat and tidy, and even has patience when confronting others, shows such a vicious appearance.
(3) What did Sozaburo say to Tashiro?
When Sozaburo and Tashiro faced off, the angry Tashiro was about to defeat Sozaburo. Sozaburo sneered slightly, and said a word to Tashiro in a low voice. Tashiro suddenly lost his strength, and Sozaburo simply killed him.
The native who witnessed this scene asked the chief secretary, "Did you hear what he said?" The chief secretary said something very strange. He said, "I didn't hear it, and even if I heard it, I wouldn't understand it. It was probably the secret language between the two of them in bed. Bar."
I listened to that sentence over and over a dozen times, and turned the volume to the maximum. So the Chief Secretary must have heard it, and not only did he hear it, he also understood it (from the Chrysanthemum Alliance, the Chief Secretary went to understand some things), so he would say "It is estimated that their bed Whisper." Because of that. . . Is it really their bed whispers?
(4) The title Royal Law
In my opinion, what Director Oshima expressed is that there are laws for everything. In order to maintain the laws, people will become cold-blooded and ruthless. Even the kind and sunny people are willing to erase that unstable factor. That's why, the director let the sunny and kind-hearted Chief Secretary kill So Saburo in the end.
