I stumbled across a movie called "The Ultimate Victory" today. A scene at the beginning of the film, when the Anti-Japanese War broke out in 1937, the British government arranged for all the expatriates in China to evacuate from China. It suddenly occurred to me that this is exactly the same as the evacuation operation described in "Wolf Warrior 2" today. There is an important message that cannot be ignored. That is, the diaspora in the evacuation operation are relatively safe, whether it is the invasion of China by Japanese pirates in the 1930s or the civil strife in Africa today. Because the country behind the diaspora is powerful, people with guns and knives will not and dare not target them to kill innocent people at will. Therefore, even if the expatriates were afraid of panic when they did not leave the land, they would eventually leave safely. Because there is a strong country behind it, even if they have to cross the war-torn area and encounter soldiers with guns, some people will shout: Can't kill the Chinese! Because there is a strong country behind it, the expatriates can leave the place safely by cruise ship and plane, and can pass through the war zone safely with the five-star red flag in hand. Because there is a strong country behind it, the expatriates will never be as dead as the locals. The comparison between the local civilians in the war and the safe evacuation of the diaspora, I think, is the horror of war. After watching "Wolf Warriors 2", I saw the narrative of expatriates who had experienced the Syrian civil war on the Internet: when they left, a local friend chased them, a seven-foot tall man, crying and saying: Our country is over. Luckily, I went to see Wolf Warrior 2 a week after its release with a great friend. Then the common vision relished for a long time. There are also some people who are full and supportive and comment that "Wolf Warrior 2" is too personal heroism. No heroism, I am afraid that no one can arouse your blood and patriotism. If the mainstream culture is missing, it is a terrible thing.
