"Suicide Shop" is a French animated film based on a novel. It tells the story of a suicide specialty store that has been passed down for three generations. The owner and his wife took their son and daughter to provide suicide tools for those who wanted to commit suicide, and then the young son born in the family changed their lives. In the end, the family who never laughed learned to smile, and the suicide store became a crepe shop.
The setting of The Suicide Shop is very special. For this setting, the film uses a gothic art style, with eerie music in the joy (a mix of high and low voices, and a sharp childish voice), and the characters are out of proportion. These elements cater to and deepen the dark humor and morbid atmosphere of the film, but these elements are like supporting facilities, they have everything they should have, and there are no surprises.
The character setting is also too face-to-face. Before Allen was born, the Mishimas and their two children lived the monotonous and dark days of sending others on the road and making suicide tools. Moreover, the characteristics of their family, no one can laugh. Therefore, Aaron's loud laughter brought panic and shock to the Mishima couple as soon as he was born. And Allen is one of the few characters in the movie without dark circles under his eyes, especially compared to his family, with rosy cheeks and godly eyes. The protagonist's halo can't be more obvious!
Although, at a glance, I can see Alan's protagonist's script and know that he will definitely change his family in the future, but if the process of change is full of drama, this animated film is still good, after all, the setting is novel.
However, Mr. Mishima and his sister had their hearts fluctuated because they witnessed the customer's suicide, and they began to have doubts. Mrs. Mishima felt sorry for her husband, and her heart was fluctuating. Allen gave her a gift to let her know her beauty. Later, her sister was completely awakened by love and numb. Heart. The plot went on like this embarrassingly. After Allen made fun of his father inexplicably, the happy ending of singing and dancing was pushed to a climax.
Everything is doomed from the beginning.
