I bought it without reading the introduction carefully. I thought it was a court movie, and I could see the decadent life of the upper class that I have always yearned for. After reading it, I realized that it is a Czech film based on the novel of the famous Czech writer Bohumil Hrabar. Before, I only knew that football is a weak country in Europe, but now I know that Europe is also a country without weakness in movies. The sharp-edged personality in the movie cannot be imitated by Hollywood movies. It discusses such heavy topics as life, country, and race in a light-hearted and ridiculed way. What impressed me the most was the Czech foreman of the Paris Hotel. Facing the Germans who insulted his country and nation, his two big ears shave neatly, and the expression on his face remained calm and elegant. After the Germans gained power, he left his belongings unhurriedly with his colleagues before being arrested, and walked out of the hotel with his head held high, with a real arrogance. On the contrary, actors who play young male protagonists personally feel that they are really average, not as good as old actors. The performance gap between the two actors of different ages is too great, and there is a lack of transition in the middle, making it impossible to understand the changes before and after the protagonist.
