"Learn something from the Yamato nation"

"Learn something from the Yamato nation" is mentioned more than once in the movie, but it has never been pointed out. So, what do you want us to learn from a SF movie like this that can be compared to a Hollywood blockbuster? I am afraid that people who really look at it with their hearts will have their own understanding. I will only say what I can think of: those Japanese people with a strong sense of crisis in real life can destroy the entire Japan in the movie, and can destroy the Yamato nation, but there is only a little "residue" left there. On the body, they have pinned their expectations on the whole of Japan and the whole world - the humanistic spirit. Outside the closed Japan, there are living human beings without any contact; in the closed Japan, the "residues" of human beings are thriving because of the care full of humanistic spirit, advancing and retreating together. Are people outside Japan lucky or unlucky? I don't have an answer.
