Simple and beautiful American youth love

Under the recommendation of Sister Xiong, I watched "To All the Boys I Have Loved" with her. A very routine American youth film. The content of the film is like his title. It describes the five boys that LaJean has a crush on. Perhaps due to the length of the film, there are only two specific descriptions. In a nutshell, the content is as follows: After five of his love letters were sent out, in order to prevent No. 5 from knowing his true heart, he pretended to be a couple with No. 3, and it turned out to be a real act. At the beginning, I didn't like the movie very much. I simply felt that the beginning of the story was amazing. My sister sent out all the five love letters that she didn't want to send. When being a fake couple, the two of them were also very sweet and exchanged feelings. Coupled with the constant "giving up" of ex-girlfriend No. 3, the two finally got married. A lucky and happy finale, the contradictions laid out in the early stage, after the video of the pool passion was exposed, one by one ushered in the most intense conflict and the most peaceful solution. Looking at the movie review, there is a word that sums it up very well, the girl "has no words for the spring". Although I am not a girl, I think this ignorant impulse is intertwined with shyness, and the deer ramming and fearing the youthful throbbing that others know, should be everyone's. I thought about myself. I also had a certain moment, a certain occasion, because of a certain action of a certain girl, my heart was suddenly stirred up by heart ripples. The girl with amnesia in junior high school, the white lotus back table in the freshman year, the short-haired karate girl in the first semester of the freshman year, and the older sister Xiong. I didn't write down the momentary impulse in my heart. It seems that the first and the fourth are also recorded. For the third, I wrote a lot of three-quotes poems, but I haven't expressed them. Not everyone has the kind of coincidence that can let people who have liked them understand their own minds without knowing it, and not all people can be treated with gentleness like LaJean in the movie, everyone still Can continue to be friends, and even get closer. However, just this "Holding Spring Without Words", this clip suddenly flashed in my mind on a certain day, a certain year, and a certain day. Even if the passage of time may have washed away the original passion, I just need a knowing smile, I think it's quite satisfying. There may not be so many adventures in real life, so go to the movies!

Oops it's killing me. What a sweet campus youth movie, one male and two males are worth the full marks. I didn't guess the plot direction at all, I always thought that the second male hero jumped out at the critical moment. In other words, I may be too sensitive myself, but there are some Asian stereotypes in it, such as poor driving, greasy hair, and the Asian female + white male combination is still a little uncomfortable.

To All the Boys I've Loved Before quotes

  • Josh: [as a figment of Lara Jean's imagination] You really oughta relax. I know you love me.

Lara Jean: Loved. Past tense. You're Margot's.

Josh: [Reading from Lara Jean's letter] "Dear Josh, I lie awake at night and imagine running my fingers through your hair, feeling your strong arms around me..."

Lara Jean: Shut up. You're not real.

Josh: [through the window we see real Josh walk past] I'm more real to you than he is.

  • Christine: I'm not denying you the right to put food on the table for your family. I just think it's a little odd that a man would want to become a gynecologist. Like when you were in college you thought, "I'd really love to look at vaginas all day."

Dr. Covey: Gonna leave the kitchen now Christine.
