Tears that year

When I was in elementary school, I watched "La Traviata" in the summer vacation. After reading it, I cried to tears.
Very sad, and wrote a long after reading and notes, in memory of the kind Margaret.

Many years have passed, and today I watched the 1936 classic version of La Traviata in its entirety. Greta Garbo played very well, the casual look, the look of not believing in love, the fear of getting married, I feel sad and understand.

After watching such a film, no matter how unconfident a girl is, she will believe in love, and she will believe that the front is bright and beautiful. There is a boy with bright and warm colors who has been looking at you, hoping that you will be close to him.

When I saw Garbo’s eyes filled with tears for more than 70 minutes, my heart ached.

Seeing her letter to the Baron saying "I knew happiness wouldn't last that long" broke my heart.

Like her, I don't believe in love, because the person I deeply liked in the past didn't like me, and it always made me feel ashamed and unworthy of him.

Like her, I always feel that happiness won't last that long, and pain is real. So when a new love came, I gave up decisively.

Dear Margaret, dear Margaret, your heart aches. I know. I know. There is no way to relieve your pain and sorrow.

Can only say I know.

    7. Although in those years I have attracted many articles to praise Garbo, and even a big book about Garbo's face, I always have a kind of resistance to Garbo's image as a girl. No matter how exquisite and brilliant acting, it always makes that thin face look more like a high-class lady who knows the world well. That is, my merry aunt...not the young lady...|Cook was an early stage director who focused on changing literary masterpieces. 2q

There's only one place for me, 0.5 seconds at the end of the last shot at the end, the fading lights sculpt a kind of ending face, the shadows hang in there, the harsh reality that the movie has to end, and so does the story , but the silhouette becomes eternal.

Camille quotes

  • Baron de Varville: No one has to tell me, you found a playmate for this rustic holiday of yours. It's in your face.

  • Armand: Tired?

Marguerite: Only nicely tired. Let's go as far as the top of the hill and see what's beyond.

Armand: Yes. I don't care what's behind, do you?

    Marguerite: No.
