There are indeed many movies adapted from "La Traviata", but this version is my favorite. Garbo is the only one I prefer among the many "Margaritas". Maybe it has something to do with her temperament. Marguerite by Dumas. Her successful shaping of Margaret condensed her understanding, accumulation and integration of life, society and roles, reaching the peak of her performance art, and won the Best Actress Award from the New York Film Critics Association in 1937.
The film tells the touching love story of a senior courtesan who is moved by an innocent young man, falls in love with him, and finally dies in his arms. To seize a heart that has not been attacked by the opposite sex is tantamount to entering an unfortified city with its gates wide open. However, to really get the love of a prostitute is an extremely difficult victory. In them, the body consumes the soul, the senses burn the heart, and the debauchery numbs the emotions. They have long been familiar with what others say to them, and they have learned all the means used by others, even the love inspired by them has also been betrayed by them. But Margaret really loved Yaman, otherwise she wouldn't drag Yaman down because she was afraid of her socialite status. Sadly, Yaman didn't know it at all. When she finally knew the truth, Margaret was forever. left.
