There is a woman behind a man's success, and there are countless men behind a woman's success, and more. Most of these are created by the era and species. It can't be good or bad. Everyone has their own choices.
And I think the most basic thing in love is trust. If two people are suspicious every day, no matter how good the love will be, it will be in vain. The heroine's compromise and letting go of love seem to be for the good of the man, but in fact it is not. Both of them are in pain, why not have a bold love? There are a lot of helplessness and constraints in life, why not give yourself the shackles? Respect your heart, don't leave too many regrets for yourself, just cherish each other.
