"Cruel" is very straightforward __ Vera fell in love with the young man, but he turned his back to her and the other. The man

couldn't take it anymore. At the end she told her brother that she was terrified - after they were shot dead by border patrol soldiers
Later---she told the truth to her brother, her soul told the truth, she was afraid. But they found the tree and
