collector

A collector is a very unfortunate person who thinks that he will never be happy with only an increase, with only one collection.
The girl Adrian and his friend Daniel dubbed the collector, Heidi, collects men. A pair of beautiful big eyes, confused and pitiful.
She must be attractive to men, and despite being sarcastically described by Daniel as "you are the lowest of all low prices", the men around her love her (although this love manifests as sleeping with her), including Adrian and Daniel.
Heidi was open to all men, but she said, I'm not a collector, I'm just looking, looking for something.
In her world, ignoring the existence of morality does not seem to be happy, as she said, just looking for it.
When Daniel scolded angrily and left, she finally told Adrian that all she wanted was a normal relationship between men and women.
However, those men, including the two sanctimonious male protagonists, just wanted to have a dewy relationship with her. Adrian even calculated it: a month is too long, a one-night stand is too short, and a week is just right .
The French art film of 1967 turned out to be like this.
There's a three-act prologue, a close-up of a woman's bikini body, an abstract philosophical dialogue, and a lengthy taunt between Adrian and the antique collector Sam, who mocks him for having no money, He laughed at Sam for not knowing how to rest.
There will also be dialogues such as "If I meet a Rousseauist and I study Rousseau, I can read Don Quixote". The most exciting part is the one when Daniel left:
"Shut up stinky bitch, you have no right to talk, you're out of luck, let us both like you, Adrian is right, you're made for stupid idiots, I thought you had Something inside to counteract your sympathetic vulgarity, Heidi, I'm fascinated by your vulgarity, I don't even think you're ugly, it's your ugly expression that attracts me, at least you can make me move a little bit, But how amusing when you are beautiful and lovely, you represent the lowest, most vulgar, most ignorant beauty, listen to me, every ray of light has its strengths and weaknesses, you must catch it in time, no Put it in a vacuum and use it, you can make it come down in a straight line, reflect or refract it, gather or diffuse it, make it round like a bubble, let it shine or close it, at its weakest point, it is darkness Yes, you must be desperate, maybe the Impressionists can figure it out, but at that time, I wasted so much time on you, I can't waste any more, I'm done, good night."
No wonder, the film starts ten minutes At that time, the person beside me fell asleep violently.

    Adrien: I don't either.

  • Adrien: In all sincerity, I think I serve mankind better by taking it easy than by working. It's true. It takes courage to not work.
