When I watched this movie, I felt that the irony of this movie was too strong. There are scenes with metaphors everywhere. Metaphors may not be considered similes, and some are similes. The corrupt and incompetent media of the Korean political state has shown no lower limit of behavior. Such a bold expression shocked me very much! I was wondering when China would be able to make this kind of film.
The speed of the country's response to the accident in the tunnel, the big slogans on the tunnel entrance, and the design drawings did not match the actual situation. The government openly discussed the issue of not saving people for the sake of funding. The media bee chrysalis huddled in the front line trying to get the latest information, but forgot that saving talents is the first. These constantly satirize the unreasonable phenomenon of Korean society at that time. The families of the accident victims were targeted, leaving an innocent wife to suffer in silence. On the surface, it is the victim's problem. More people die in order to save one person. In fact, the victim is also innocent. The real problem is the government's corruption and incompetence. The more grievances this wife suffers, the more it reflects the greater the government's problems. But this movie still has a warm side. The captain of the rescue team really saves people for the sake of saving people, and puts people's lives first. To taste urine, to drill down. It really makes people feel that there is true love in the world. Afterwards, he repeated the swear words aloud to the media. On the surface, it was said by the victim, but in fact, it was his own voice, scolding both the media and the government. In the end, he smiled and said why he had to write a review book. And this shot doesn't say anything else, but it makes people feel a strong sense of self-deprecation. It is the composition of these points that makes the whole film full of irony.
This film restores a real and complex social face for us, showing an ugly, ridiculous and pathetic portrait of all beings. After reading it, it makes people think deeply about the problems of this society.
