The whole movie doesn't have any ups and downs, there are no over-the-top festivals, it's like you are recalling something at a certain moment, it's very fragmented but very clear.
So beautiful, this is the first feeling.
It may be the processing of the lens, that kind of blurry but very warm and clear feeling like a Polaroid.
More than half an hour was a childhood memory, and then slowly, Francisco's father died, their mother died, Thomas went to Russia to participate in the Olympic training, and then got together. The whole story is so simply tied together. It was mixed with them playing at the house of Francisco's dad, who suffered a broken bone because of Thomas. It's as simple as a junior high school student using an interlude narrative. It couldn't be simpler, but it gave me the most intuitive feeling.
They bravely faced the eyes of the world, they exchanged rings, quarreled, parted, and finally got together again. Love is love, even if it crosses the gender and crosses the relationship, as long as you like each other, you will still be together.
In the end, Francisco was swimming alone in the sea, the blue water, when intertwined with the scenes of swimming with Thomas as a child, it was so beautiful. Because of missing, because of love, time is not a problem, distance is not a problem, when we finally hugged and cried, it seemed that everything was really frozen in an instant like a Polaroid.
