The thriller brought by this film breaks through the American suspense, the Chinese treacherous, and the Japanese blood, which is refreshing. The Russians created a whole new way to express fear with the perfect combination of modern electronica and bluish shots.
Although there are a few flaws in the plot and the characters are not three-dimensional, the high-level philosophical thinking makes this film more compelling (the relationship between the people and leaders, children's education, rational and emotional choices, etc.).
The protagonist of this film is more of a human whole, but the director mishandled it (probably?) and doesn't feel epic. To say that there is a male protagonist is simply a blasphemy to this film.
Another: The male lead is so handsome.
