Blindsight, what is it? is sick!
Blindsightedness is a condition in which some people are blind to an area of their field of vision. People with type I blindsight claim that they can't see anything, but they make far better judgments about the location or type of movement of objects in the area than random guessing. Unlike Type II blindsight, patients claim to be able to perceive motion information of some objects, but have no visual perception. Blindsight is caused by damage to an area of the visual cortex (see occipital lobe).
Visual information processing in the brain goes through a series of steps. Damage to the primary visual cortex results in visual loss in the corresponding visual field area. The area of vision loss in the visual field, also known as the blind spot, varies according to the extent of the damage, and can be as small as the entire half of the visual field.
---It can probably be said that such "invisibility" is at least half due to psychological reasons!
The film swept the major international film festivals by surprise, winning the Best European Film Award at the Berlin Film Festival, the Best Screenplay Award in the World Film Section of the Sundance Film Festival, and was nominated for seven Oscars in Norway.
It was so easy to win the grand prize because the judges couldn't understand it and were too embarrassed to admit it?
Hehe, I just spent 20 minutes scanning this film, too lack of artistic sensibility, and really not interested in wasting time for a boring story with a so-called stream of consciousness and other straw hats.
I choose to be blind to this kind of film.
