In fact, I think society as a whole is a vicious circle. Women and men are both vanity animals, but the vanity direction is different. Women value material things, on the one hand, out of their own vanity, and on the other hand, they may be out of a lack of security. Surround yourself with matter, and you may be able to experience real existence. That's what it means to be pleasing to oneself. Men pay more attention to appearance, which is actually a manifestation of vanity. Some men always say women are superficial when they have no money, but when they have money, it is not a pleasure to change women. So no one can say who, in this superficial age, there is nothing more real.
We long for spiritual belonging, but we are always used by material things. I am very envious of the beautiful love between Darcy and Elizabeth.
