This is a film that the industry is looking forward to. Given that film and television may become the direction of upcoming investment, I am also looking forward to it.
I asked some people who like to watch movies before. Everyone has mixed opinions on this film. Some people think that the classics cannot be copied and surpassed. Some people think that Lao Xu's films generally do not disappoint everyone. I am somewhat impressed with the new Dragon Gate Inn, but not very deep.
Since it's the premiere, and there are stars attending the meeting, walking the red carpet, etc., I feel that the film party has done a lot of homework. Several leading actors are here, and Old Monster Xu seems very happy. I accidentally saw Li Yuchun wearing a skirt, and Fan Xiaoxuan accidentally stepped on her skirt.
Later, in the lounge, I also met the filmmakers and starring actors. The premiere was complicated, and the stars had to start.
Closer to home, talk about movies. Frankly speaking, I have watched a lot of IMAX 3D films before, but they were all made abroad. I feel that Tsui Hark is very vocal this time. He started his own IMAX 3D just two years after IMAX entered China, and what he said at the opening was very sincere. The stars sat in the back row of me, and the director didn't seem to sit down and watch it in person.
As soon as the film opens, it gives people a sense of familiarity - the music and frame settings all have a sense of succession with the New Dragon Inn, but there are also different feelings, such as the openness of the scene and the setting of the characters, which are easy to bring the audience into. plot. Immediately afterwards, there is a fighting plot, the scene is grand, and it does not rely on people or other parts to build momentum, which is also the advantage of giant screens. Another point is that the virtual scene will not make people feel particularly stiff and weird, and obviously a lot of effort has been put into the technical processing in the later stage.
Needless to say, Jet Li's fighting is wonderful, but watching the whole film, although he is the protagonist and so is Chen Kun, there is a sense of being robbed by Chen Kun. It may also be that Chen Kun already has a great advantage in playing two roles by one person. Whether it is the Jianghu Ranger of Feng Li Dao, who is cowardly and comical; or the imposing manner of the boss of the West Factory, they are all good.
I heard that there are six leading actors, so Zhou Xun's role in the film is already within his grasp. Li Yuchun has broken away from the jerky feeling of a rookie actor, and wielding a knife is not bad, but the dart is more energetic (I have been studying this dart later: head The upper strap can be interlocked, and if you miss a shot, you can use it twice or three times.) Gui Lunmei doesn't comment, because it feels weird and something is missing. Fan Xiaoxuan, the only person in charge of beauty, fights at the last moment. Very domineering, hey! Quite an amazing combination.
If the film is lacking. Speaking of jumping, I don't know why the director finally gave Zhao Huaian and Feng Li Dao a "fight in the tornado" link. Maybe it was the pride of the ancient heroes? But the fight is also rather inexplicable. Instead, the group fights in the desert, and the last-minute fight between Zhao Huai'an, Gu Shaotang and Yu Huatian is more attractive.
The plot of the story is okay. Several people gathered at the Dragon Gate Inn for their own interests. It is still a black shop, but the new proprietress has become Gu Shaotang, and Ling Yanqiu has become a ranger. Although Zhou Xun and Li Lianjie's young and old match make many people feel a little weird, but the lines of Jet Li's brother are obviously not set up very well. The knife character is a little deliberate (perhaps the character needs it), and Li Yuchun's lines play a role in adjusting the atmosphere in the constant fighting tension.
All in all, the plot of the film is very closely intertwined, which makes me feel very comfortable.
I haven't seen such a pleasant film in the mainland for several years. I hope the film industry in the mainland will get better and better!
