The film parallels the experience of a vice-admiral in Tsarist Russia during the period of country change with an extramarital affair that never crossed the border. If it is an ordinary person, in an ordinary period, the tone of the film will appear very hypocritical.
If you want to see her as an orthodox biopic, it's not very exciting, the rhythm of the war scenes is scattered, and the characters' situations lack enough historical explanation. The film is more like a love drama, everything is to foil every intersection of the hero and heroine. Fortunately, the charm of the screen starring male and female actors did not live up to all the costs.
