"Kingdom, Ashin of the North"
Feminist, semi-thriller, film about revenge. Tragedy begins with loyalty and trust. The people of Pozhuwei went into the mountains to collect ginseng, but were discovered by the North Korean army and brutally killed them. In order to avoid a war between the two countries, the North Korean army secretly set the victims on fire. He also ordered Ashin's father to go to Po Zhuwei's country to spread rumors that Po Zhuwei was attacked by tigers. This is the goodbye between father and daughter for decades. For their own safety, the North Korean army sent a letter to Po Zhuwei secretly while sending people to spread the rumors. The letter made it clear that Ashin's father was a spy who went to Pozhuweiguo, causing Ashin's father to be persecuted. And caused the action of Po Zhuwei to kill the entire tribe of Ashin. With the idea that he could cure his mother's illness by finding the grass that revives the dead, Ashin came back from the mountain and found that his family was ruined and he had nowhere to go. The young Ashin made a vow to avenge the whole family.
Ashin took refuge in the North Korean army, was marginalized in the army and survived the humiliation, and worked hard to train his tactical skills. After more than 10 years, he finally became an excellent soldier. Ashin, who travels back and forth between Bazhuwei and the North Korean army all the year round, is very familiar with the camps of both sides. During an accidental visit, Ashin sent a letter to Po Zhuwei's secret, and his father suffered a torture similar to that of Queen Jiang in "Fengshen Bang". Ashin reluctantly sent his father away, returned to the North Korean camp, and finally understood the ins and outs of the whole thing. In the end, with his own strength, he stepped down the military camps of North Korea and Pozhuwei, and avenged the annihilation of the family.
The power of revenge is immeasurable. Because of the unquenchable desire for revenge, Ashin has developed top killer skills and a cold-blooded personality. She defines the meaning of her life as the revenge of the Wei people. With the belief that it must be done, she will do whatever it takes to achieve it.
