Maybe it's a matter of age, but what moved me most about this film wasn't the echo of the past when the girl Fujii saw the portrait of herself behind the bookmark at the end of the film.
What touched me was that at the beginning of the film, Hiroko spoke affectionately about the memories of past lovers, and Akiba sat diagonally opposite Hiroko with a smile on his face, "You know, I'm sad, you still like to sit that location".
Thinking about it, there have been many times, although I was extremely sad in my heart, I still managed to hold back my smile. Seemingly talking and laughing is actually a silent farewell.
I still remember the summer of that year, although at the last moment, we were still talking and laughing, or recalling a little past, but you know, this is goodbye. It just didn't say "you know what, I'm sad".
