informal film review

The picture is very beautiful, so I give it one more star. Generally speaking, it is still very positive. The whole film is composed of confessions of people of different races and identities, as well as various magnificent scenery. Simple and straightforward, there is nothing to think about to understand. Maybe this is also the feature of this documentary, so I can't wait to call out such remarks as "Long Live Peace" and "Love is the only way to save each other". A large section in the middle is still a normal discussion of war, race, forgiveness, poverty, and homosexuality. There is no new idea, it does not mean that these are not important, it can only be said that I think this documentary is quite satisfactory, but it is not worth 9 points. But in the end, it came to the thinking about life and death and the meaning of life, which made me light up.

One of them spoke of abstinence of desire, and our unhappiness comes from inflated desire. Schopenhauer, who advocated abstinence, said: Our happiness can only be given by ourselves. However, people are born to be group animals, they are afraid of loneliness, and they cannot resist the instinct of survival. Even Schopenhauer, who clamored that we should get along with ourselves and not pay too much attention to others, still resigned angrily after teaching at the University of Berlin because he couldn't compare to Hegel.

I think that the meaning of life may be meaningless. Everyone is just one of these thousands of people. What’s the matter of life and death? Maybe someone will shed tears for your separation, but one day those who shed tears for you will also pass away. All we want is the continuation of future generations and the appearance of peace, but to be honest, it is impossible for a selfish creature like man to achieve complete equality and peace.
