The style of the movie is very similar to that of Stephen Chow's movie, with unexpected jokes, ups and downs of the fate of the characters, the small counterattacks of the little people...a movie full of sincerity. What I like best is when the male protagonist eats barbecue with another group at the end of the movie, the section chief of that group leaves ashamed, and the male protagonist smiles at the corner of his mouth. There is pride, relief, and happiness in the smile. In the fireworks-filled barbecue restaurant, there is no extra dialogue, which is enough to make people feel at ease.
The film finally paid tribute to "The True Color of Heroes", which suddenly brought the star-studded golden age of Hong Kong movies. Thinking of having dinner with several senior executives of Korean companies two years ago, they all mentioned Wang Zuxian, saying that after meeting Wang Zuxian when they were young, they had never seen a beauty again. The funniest thing is that they also said they wanted to go to Canada to find her. Lovely uncles... I hope Chinese movies will do well! Chinese audiences did not give up, and neither did the filmmakers!
