Funny is an invisible thing, like a horror movie, you have to be unexpected and logical. If the traces are too obvious and the audience guessed the intention, then your joke is a failure.
However, for some audiences, comedies may not be funny, but they must be lively. Just like the sketches of the Spring Festival Gala, the chattering and screeching finally came to a family fun, and everyone was happy. It is a thankless thing to patiently polish the jokes until they leave no trace, and there is simply such a group of tolerant audiences.
I wanted to watch a comedy but was forced to watch a skit for over an hour. I wanted to see a story that became more vivid after the director's interpretation and processing, but I waited for a carefully put together collection of jokes. I was squeaked for over an hour by the director who rushed out of the screen, but I couldn't laugh. Because I am neither empty nor impetuous, I do not need to be lively.
For a good comedy, whether the story itself is bland or grand, the director is able to unearth humor and subtlety. A story is still a story, and interpretation from a particular perspective does not destroy the integrity and authenticity of the story itself. This can explain why the plots of many comedies are bizarre and even fragmented at the end, because what we see is not a story at all, but a parody that has been pieced together, a piece that has been cut into pieces. xx brand fried chicken put back together.
In the end, this movie imitates "The Veteran" everywhere, and is not as good as "The Veteran" everywhere, but it can win in word of mouth, I can't accept it.
