Always be closing

To be honest, after watching this movie, I was not in a good mood. The whole movie was full of a messy atmosphere, which made people distracted to watch. However, after watching it, the feeling is that this is still a good teaching film, comedy and truly show the daily life of sales, their world. All the actors in it are full of skill, and they show excellent colors in it. The old salesman will hand over his words to the new salesman, and the most powerful salesman will never be jealous of other colleagues making orders. He will just go in and ask, hey, big brother, how did you do it? And has a sincere and knowledgeable look. In this movie, I learned some knowledge about sales: First, create a sense of authority. In any case, a vice president of a real estate company must be more reliable and powerful than a newcomer, right? Just say that you are a big man.

Second, we must shape the customer's desire and help him to dream together. If you buy this thing, what kind of feeling you will get, dream together, and enjoy the good feelings. Third, give customers some benefits. For example, in a movie, a salesperson wants to sell land to customers, and they usually say that there are prizes and benefits to be given to them. The tone should be understatement and sincere and credible, and try to speak with customers in a soft and determined tone. Make customers feel that you are for their good. Fourth, create a sense of urgency. Every salesperson will say where I happen to be today and there is a free time in the evening. I don't know if I can meet. At the same time pretending to ask the assistant to book first class for him somewhere.

Fifth, we must chat more with customers and explore their inner needs. Whether they want or not, there is always a reason to talk to them.

Sixth, do not speak your own words about things that you don't know. Although not everyone has the ability to watch and see, you can at least learn to shut up when you don't understand the gaffe.

Seventh, don't sit in the office without understanding the actual operation. This will only make you more and more ignorant and out of touch.

Eighth, when you meet weak customers, treat them with a strong attitude, even if you persuade them to place orders.

Ninth, in the face of money, people will lose their dignity and bottom line. If you feel that you will not give up your dignity and bottom line, it can only mean that money has not reached the price you want.

Tenth, the best leads will only be given to the best salesmen in the company.

Eleventh, never give up, always keep the heart of making money. Always be closing! You will fall in love with the feeling of making money continuously, and you will like others calling you a money machine.

Old movie, poor people, business ethics that are collapsing, no matter good or evil, chasing profit, poor and sad people, some people who fool people with their lip service, the movie has only a few scenes, most of which are dialogues, salesman sales techniques, tactics, and tricks

It's good-looking. With such a strong screenwriter and a collective of actors, the director can easily get four stars as long as he doesn't make low-level mistakes in scheduling.

Glengarry Glen Ross quotes

  • Dave Moss: What did I do?

    George Aaronow: You listened!

  • Shelley Levene: I'll cut you in on the $82,000 sale I just closed.

Williamson: Bruce and Harriet Nyborg? You wanna see the memos? They're nuts. They used to call in every week when I was with Webb and we were selling Arizona. They're nuts. Did you see how they were living? How can you delude yourself?

Shelley Levene: I got their check.

Williamson: Yeah? Well, forget it, frame it, it's worthless.

Shelley Levene: The check is no good?

Williamson: Yeah. If you wanna wait around, I'll pull the memo. I'm busy right now.

Williamson: Wait a minute! The check is no good? They're nuts?

Williamson: You wanna call the bank Shelley? I called them. I call them four months ago when we first got the lead. The people are insane. They just like talking to salesmen.
