He succeeded Ercheng and inspired Zhu Xi. He was the backbone and key figure of Cheng-Zhu's Neo-Confucianism, and he also made great contributions to the spread of Neo-Confucianism. The core proposition of Cheng-Zhu's Neo-Confucianism is "to preserve the principles of nature and eliminate human desires", emphasizing the establishment of an ideal personality through conscious moral cultivation. However, after a long period of change, Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism became the social ideology mandated by the rulers, while "Tian Li" gradually changed into a feudal ethics and morality that strengthened the control of social ideology, such as three cardinal guides and five constants, and became a tool to control others and lost it. The role of self-cultivation. Therefore, the second most conspicuous couplet in the ancestral hall, "Accumulate Virtue Wins Relics, Keep Your Body Like Jade" is full of irony and warning. Accumulating virtue means cultivating one's own virtue, and guarding one's self means cherishing one's own reputation. This is the original meaning of Cheng-Zhu's Neo-Confucianism and also the original meaning of Confucian morality. But after thousands of years of inheritance, it has changed beyond recognition, leaving only the shackles of human nature. Yang Jinshan, the owner of the old Yang family dyeing workshop, just like his name, guards the Jinshan of the old Yang family. But he cherishes gold like his life, whether it is Judou or Tianqing, he must work diligently for him. Perhaps the greatest virtue Yang Jinshan has accumulated in his life is to adopt the orphan Yang Tianqing next door, but in fact, it is just to find a free labor. He never regarded Tianqing as a son. In order to avoid people who eat more, Tianqing is 40 years old and refuses to marry him a wife. What kind of reputation can Yang Jinshan, who cherishes gold as his life and treats people as oxen as horses, thinks horses are more important than people? The two rascals who came to take the job called him "old man" without any respect. "Accumulating virtue wins legacy Dyefang: An ethical siege that cannot go out Pushing open the door of Lao Yang's Dyeing Workshop, the first thing you see is a dye pool, scaffolding and a patio with bamboo poles of various colors. This is the old Yangjia dyeing workshop, surrounded by blue-gray tiles, brown-gray wooden doors and windows, and mottled white walls, the only place where you can see the sky. Behind the colorful dyeing workshop, there is a decaying and ancient ancestral hall with long burning incense candles. On the second floor of the ancestral hall, it is Yang Jinshan's bedroom. For a big feudal family, the continuation of the incense is the biggest rule. There are three kinds of unfilial piety, no descendant is the greatest. But the old Yang family is facing the crisis of breaking the incense. None of the golden generation of the old Yang family has given birth to a son. The root cause of Yang Jinshan's psychological distortion is the oppression of human nature by feudal ethics. His wife, just as the prop "saddle" is a metaphor, is just a tool for him to be a cow and a horse and have children. And Yang Jinshan itself is just another component of this set of tools. The core of feudal ethics is husband and wife, parents and children are an extension of the relationship between husband and wife, and the relationship between ruler and subject is an extension of the relationship between father and son. However, the union of men and women under the feudal morality is nothing more than "men should be married and women should be married", which is to continue the incense, not because of love. The foundation of feudal morality seems to start from the family, but in fact there is no human nature at all. Even Judou and Tianqing had an affair, not because of love. The father guides the son and the husband guides the wife. This is what feudal ethics requires. But in fact, Ju Dou's family and husband are relaying the persecution of her. What's even more tragic is that although Judou has a strong desire to resist, he also subconsciously believes that the only person who can save him can be another man. Husbands and wives are different, men and women are different. This is the social morality and social status quo created by feudal ethics. When the screams of the pigs were heard in the distance, Judou couldn't help complaining to Tianqing: "Listen, that pig is crying for its life." Isn't Judou crying for her own life? How to fight against your own destiny? The only one around who can save her is the old bachelor Tian Qing. Judou is a smart woman. She found out from the peeping hole that Tianqing has a desire for her, and this desire is something she can use. After a brief conversation at the village entrance, Judou found her concern and sympathy for her again. After being abused again, Judou shows Tianqing the scars on his body through the peeping hole, hoping to arouse Tianqing's sympathy. In exchange for Yang Tianqing's protection through sex, or by giving birth to a son to satisfy Yang Jinshan's wishes, he will no longer be abused. In the process of cheating, the two fell in love. Sex for the purpose of reproduction led to Yang Jinshan's psychological distortion, and Judou was abused; sex that was not for the purpose of reproduction brought love. Tianqing and Judou decided to take good care of Jinshan, let him live spiritually, and watch the two of them cheat, in order to avenge Jinshan's oppression and abuse of them. Later, Yang Tianbai ran home alone and dyed the dog's tail grass in his hand red in the dye vat. Yang Jinshan wanted to push Tianbai down the dye pool, but he was evaded by Tianbai several times by accident. Yang Tianbai turned around and called him "Father", Yang Jinshan smiled happily. What could be more enjoyable than such revenge when your own son calls others to call him father, but you call him brother? In the thrill of perverted revenge, Yang Jinshan fell into the dye pool and ended his life. Yang Tianbai laughed for the first time in his life. Yang Jinshan, who was physically impotent and psychopathic, Yang Tianqing, who was cowardly and weak in mental impotence, and Judou, who dared to love and hate but couldn't help but raised them together, is such a dark and cold, more twisted and perverted Yang Tianbai. Tianbai carried Tianqing out of the cellar, threw it into the red dye pool that drowned Jinshan, and gave Tianqing another blow. The red cloth fell down, just like when Tian Qing and Ju Dou first had an affair. Judou witnessed Tianbai killing his biological father, Yang Tianqing, and shouted in horror, climbed down from the second floor, but was powerless. It was exactly the same as when Jinshan climbed down the stairs and set fire to the house. The house in Jinshan that was not burned at that time, chrysanthemum beans were burned. The dyeing workshop has led to the tragedy of Yang Jinshan, the tragedy of Judou, the tragedy of Tianqing, and the tragedy of Tianbai.
