Listening to the wind in Iceland

Iceland , the country closest to the Arctic Circle
, where the average annual temperature is only 4°C,
I have always been very curious about her. I have

only known the name of one city in this country . The
capital, Reykjavik
, is in middle school . The names I remembered in my geography class There are

only a few people in those quiet and empty Icelandic towns.
It is said that one-third of the people in this country live in the capital, Reykjavik.
I think only such a country can breed such pure music.

The vast ocean, the soft sand, the young and the young all walk barefoot, run,
soccer, bikes, water sports, and playful, innocent children.

Iceland is truly a unique country
. So simple. The sky and mountains and lakes are so quiet

. More about Iceland I know more about music because
every village in Iceland has a choir to know how they love to sing
There is an instrument made of stone, the marimba, which plays crisp music.

This is not an ordinary movie, but a Sigur. A trip of gratitude to Rós
They went back to their hometown to various remote and deserted villages to perform for them for free. Sigur Rós
used charming notes to set off the beautiful sky, land and ice and snow of their hometown.

Sigur Rós: Heima quotes

  • Band member: It's kind of a safe haven for us, Iceland. We are left on our own here.

  • Jon Thor Birgisson: I think Kjarri's grandmother, she went to the concert and thought it was really loud, and then heard it was on TV, too. Like, "It was on the TV! Let's go home! If it's on TV, let's go home and watch it on TV." Then it was the end of the last song and these crazy backdrops and stuff, like really intense. Then she thought something was wrong with her TV and shut it off. I think it's nice.
