I think part of the reason for the film's heavy use of the first point of view is to remind us that if you're not in God's perspective, how do you know you're in the real world?
But unfortunately, this most interesting setting in the whole film has not been used well.
If two mirrors look at each other and see each other's universe in opposite directions, then which universe is the real world?
Are there any general laws better enough for us to judge correctly?
