The first time I saw it, I was young, in elementary school. I didn't understand a lot of the plot at that time, especially Mr. Kaplan when he heard the train going to Poland and muttered that he had escaped from there. I didn't understand it. I thought he was also a fugitive and served a prison sentence in a concentration camp. I don't understand why he had to jump out of the car. Now I understand that he was in a Nazi concentration camp.
The railway dispatching equipment in the film didn't notice anything at the time, I thought it was just a prop, but when I look at it now, I can see the difference in the technical level at home and abroad. The first time I saw it, I didn't feel the advantages of electrified railways. The mobile phones, guns, and other equipment used by soldiers in the film, as well as people's legal awareness.
Revisiting the details of the movie again, the specific plot is secondary.
