Good idea, ruined in the hands of scumbag directors and rubbish actors.
Some people say that "Otherworld" copied Inception, that's bullshit, I'm afraid Nolan will laugh when he sees you saying this, and say you don't understand it at all.
The otherworld tells the story of an architect with advanced consciousness who thought he received a big order, but actually fell into the hands of a half-cult, half-scientific evil force.
The male protagonist and his girlfriend escaped from the evil forces, and the girlfriend accidentally rammed the car into a big truck. The two were dragged into the site leased by the force and got into a nightmare.
There are already a group of people waiting for them. The flow rate between the time in the dream and the real time is about 100:1, which is equivalent to staying in the dream for three and a half months, and the reality has only passed one day, how cool.
However, this dream is not safe. There is a black monster called a hunter (I personally think this thing should be called a nightmare), which specializes in hunting the living people who dream and enter this world.
The screenwriter defines the hunter as the kind of person who has not been extubated (without taking off the life support device) after brain death, laying the groundwork for the following.
Then they were looking for a legendary safe island without hunters, and then the big boss, the leader of the evil forces, finally revealed that this island did not exist, and the architect they hired had to build it himself.
The story line is fine, the creativity is fine, and the screenwriter is OK. However, the director is too messy, and the actors' acting skills are also lethal. The script of this drama is taken out for the Hollywood directors to shoot, I am afraid it will be a movie. A well-known blockbuster is up, but it's a pity that it's a good film.
