"Yes." Came back the whisper, followed by the twinkling eyes and blinding smile of his Captain. Just the anchor he achingly needed to his troubled mind. All memories flooded back at once. He was whole again.

Also I'm more convinced that every time Spock raises his eyebrows at Jim, it's his unique Vulcan way of saying "you are a fool yet I love you".
The omnipresent reminder of K/S being soulmate. We get it and appreciate more of it.
(On a side note, it's like renting a Xeno porno named Pon Farr but wait a minute... just finger kissing? Where's the crazy animal sex you've promised? I demand a refund!)
