French cinema is well known, not many. "The Killer Is Not Too Cold", "Amelie", "Spring in the Cattle Class".
"Escape from the Tiger's Mouth" may be more talked about by everyone.
I have been in love with Taxi Express since college. Personally, I think the "Taxi Express" series 1-4 are representative works of French classic films, because they are implanted with real French humor and French romantic culture.
After watching "Taxi Express 5", I was very disappointed and had three failures.
1. The classic inheritance, can not make fried cold rice, and it is super mushy cold rice.
The biggest feature of the series of movies is the continuation of the previous drama, but the plot must be innovative, and the special effects and performance methods must be surpassed. Can not be a simple fried cold rice, over-consumption of classics. This is not only a continuation of the classic, but the destruction of the classic.
Egg fried rice, use cold rice overnight, pay attention to the egg is hard but not sticky, the rice is clear but not greasy, the two are evenly mixed without sticking together, it can be said to be simple and difficult.
This "Taxi Express 5" uses rice that has been separated by 3 days, super mushy eggs, put lard, and a plate of egg fried rice that can't bear to look directly. (The first forty-five minutes is this super mushy fried rice with pork and egg)
2. The lack of the protagonist makes the movie lose its soul.
1-4's protagonist "Daniel" is the soul of the series. The replaced protagonist really does not have the confidence and ability to take on the soul of the entire movie, and there is a big gap in driving skills and acting skills (expressions and verbal tension).
3. French humor ≠ mocking the weak
French humor can become the most international trend because of its self-deprecation of small country and common people and its mockery of privilege, aristocracy and villains. (Distinguish the heroic humor of the United States, and the ceremonial humor of the aristocratic gentleman in the United Kingdom)
Because of the French romantic culture, it has formed a unique outgoing, publicized, self-deprecating humor.
In "Taxi Express 5", the ridicule of those physical defects such as body, size, and spirit deviates from the main body of French humor.
