"Taxi Express" can be regarded as a veteran in drag racing movies. As early as 2000, I played the high-altitude skydiving section in "The Fast and the Furious". The protagonist in the movie - a white taxi, runs faster than Mercedes-Benz and Ferrari, can overturn the speedometer of the traffic police, can also dodge bullets, and can match the speed of high-speed rail. That year, "Taxi Express" won a box office of over 100 million yuan when it was released in France, and won seven "Caesar Award" nominations, stealing the limelight of other films in the same period. Thankfully, 20 years later, Taxi Express 5 is still fun and easy, even if it doesn't hype. I don't want to label "Taxi Express 5" as OG, but I really feel that this series of movies is well done, whether it's a racing scene or a hilarious plot, it's all good.
It's boring to drive at a constant speed. Going to the cinema to "fly a fast car" is more in line with the identity of everyone's old drivers. There is no need to think about the future or the past, let go of everything, and just live in the present, this moment, this minute, this second. It's a movie worth watching.
