My favorite Korean love movie so far, bar none. It has been more than ten years, and the bridges in it are still impressive. I like this pure and romantic narrative style. There are no funny, special effects and other elements that are not related to the theme. I just slowly tell the story of the two couples. Love stories, revealing natural feelings and touching each other.
The story of mother Zhu Xi's long-held first love is heart-wrenching but helpless, love but can't, and dedication. Seeing Jun He pointing at the empty table, hearing him say that he had practiced many times a day earlier, but she still found out the fact that he was blind, the sadness and regret made me cry.
Daughter Zixi's love story is a careful thought of secret love, a cautious one who is not very confident and dare not approach. When Shang Min put the umbrella in his hand in the store, raised his jacket and ran with her in the heavy rain, when the song "I For You, You For Me" sounded, the appeal was really strong, and he was excited to join them start running. After listening to that episode countless times, the rhythm and style are all in perfect harmony with the film.
In the end, when Shang Min's necklace was taken out, I believe everyone had already guessed the relationship between him and Jun Ha, and we had to believe in fate.
