I've watched the first two, so I'm looking forward to the last one. The most important thing is the protagonist and Uncle Song Kanghao.
I watched it for four nights and finally finished it.
The overall feeling is that the plot does not have much ups and downs, which is completely expected. Although a well-established anti-Japanese film is much better than domestic films, it is not a masterpiece after all.
Perhaps Song Kanghao's acting skills and Gong Yoo's long legs are the biggest highlights of this movie.
The history of Korea's annexation by Japan, like the history of China's invasion by Japan, is a national disgrace and a disaster for the nation. For the sake of the country and the revolution, many passionate young people threw their blood and shed their blood for one goal, and fought with Japan's aggression. Those who fought, some on the ground, some underground, sacrificed, and survived.
There are those who live and die gloriously, and there are those who survived, but because of the need of work, they live in the shadows all their lives.
The role played by Song Kanghao is undoubtedly the latter. He was born in North Korea but worked hard for the Japanese in order to survive. Fortunately, his national complex was not completely lost, however, this also made his sad life.
In order for the country to become independent as soon as possible, it takes a lot of courage to be forced to openly admit to being a Korean traitor and bear the infamy that thousands of people refer to.
This is probably the price the spy will bear after his heart has been swayed.
If the leader of the Boxer Regiment said, "Even if we fail, we must move forward, and even if we fail, we must step on and move forward, and finally stand at the top!" It is a rhetoric to encourage people to continue to fight against Japan, then Li Zheng's words "See you again" and Jin Woojin's graffiti on the prison wall, "The members are here for a visit" are the hope that people see in their lives.
A single spark can start a prairie fire.
At any time, the national complex will be higher than everything, just because there is only one country in the heart, that is: the motherland.
