Going to the school theater at night to revisit Bresson's film "Money" (L'argent, 1983) - the last time I saw it at the "Bresson Film Festival" at the China Film Archive, the level of depression is reminiscent of Chabrol La cérémonie (1995). The middle-class teenagers started by deceiving people with counterfeit banknotes, and the simple people at the bottom became victims and culprits, deceived and cruelly treated, and revenge in cruel ways.
