I think this film will definitely hit the street after the ban on Rotten Tomatoes is lifted. It's really only limited in its strengths than BVS.

As a pseudo-DC fan and a really big super fan who has seen the premiere of several films in the DC Universe, I really don’t want to talk about this film. It's useless. At any rate, the film shows the super super god's combat power to the fullest. But as far as I am concerned, that's the only bright spot I can think of. In addition to Dachao, the full story is full of various slots that people can't get around. If the Marvel family had not filmed the Avengers Universe, I might still take a look at this JL, but compared to Avengers, the maturity of this film is really far worse.

The first problem is the unfolding of the characters. The recruitment in the first half of the film is actually to develop a few backgrounds without origin story characters. If the expansion of the master in BVS is too strong but not sufficient, then the role expansion in JL can only be said to be insufficient. Aquaman was the first to recruit, but he actually went to Steppenwolf to grab the mother box before revealing that he was an important figure in Atlantis. After talking to the master, he only knew that this brother likes to undress and swim. Barry's age setting was slightly pushed forward until he was proficient in using his abilities to fight crime, and it was not until half of the audience of the film knew how he gained his superb power in one sentence. The steel frame is even more tangled. The relationship between him and the mother box hasn't even been expanded. It's just a sentence. In general, it is understandable that the screenwriter has fragmented the background of the characters in order to watch the movie effect and advance the plot, but is there really no better way? My friends who usually don’t watch American Manga show me a lot of time, even in the middle of the plot, they are still asking me what the superpowers of these people are. I don’t know if this shows that the development of these characters is actually not that successful. I don't know if most moviegoers who don't have background knowledge of the DC Universe are also watching it.

The character after a simple expansion still looks quite collapsed. The master, an assassin think tank hero, went to die and then took the gun biubiubiu. The IQ of the whole show is not online like BVS, and the super powers are really rich. Diana was entrusted by her master to lead the team and she didn't see how to lead, nor did she see any tactical deployment after follow my lead. The aunt who had lived for two centuries was actually urged by the master, so the master's superpower is probably the IQ offline. And there are close-ups during the whole process to show the goddess smile. There are three expressions in the whole play: smile, calm face, and nervous face. Basic power level, is this really the Wonder Woman before? Because there is the same type of character of the war police, the little angel fast silver, Barry's special effects performance is not outstanding in comparison. Why was he so funny when he was asked to run out to save people during the final battle. He has so many uses of scout and harassing characters, so let him send the courier to Shi Lezhi. Not to mention Vic, the previous paragraph originally showed his self-identity problem, and suddenly he got better after joining the team. This self-breakthrough came as fast as the summer rain. Aquaman is not a weak seaman this time, but there is no water in the second half of the scene (CGI water special effects are very expensive and understandable), he is completely used as a tank, and he has the advantage of a tank when he comes out. It’s a tribute to the comics that the latter part of the film has maintained his usual soy sauce identity.

Even if the character collapses, the plot is also chaotic, the details are very rough, and the degree of relaxation is simply a luxury. The fierce battle scene came to an abrupt end. Almost every battle ended with a very blunt and unnatural transition. The fast switching scenes were to advance the story. I haven’t understood the scene where they climbed out of the harbor and Vic left the mecha on. Climbing halfway and powering them off, are they considered escaped? In literary opera, the acting level and rhythm of all the actors are not at the same level (in crosstalk terms, the dialogue is particularly not round). The resurrection of Dachao is even more mentally retarded, and the mother box is collapsed, won’t everyone pick it up? Without the Lantern in charge of transportation, Barry can't help the master? Just to give Da Chao a chance to beat everyone up? The most frightening thing is that the whole story rhythm of the last boss scene almost collapsed. After the appearance of Da Chao, there was still a fierce battle in the first second, and the next second began to gag and abuse the boss. It should be known that for the balance and rationality of the story, animation and comics often weaken Da Chao or find some opponents that Da Chao can't handle so that the entire team has a chance to shine. But this time, the plot of JL makes people feel that this issue has not been considered. The whole story is, let’s try it, but we can’t beat it, resurrect Dachao and let him beat us, he beat us, let’s try it, or can’t beat him, Dachao appeared and beat him, the end . Although it's a super fan, I can't accept this plot either. In fact, the content that JL wants to express has always been quite rich. Superheroes make up for each other's shortcomings in their personalities and human nature to complete the team. Establish trust in the cloud in the process of cooperation. Although they all have superpowers, they all have their own weaknesses in human nature, which makes DC's comics superhero comics rather than modern myths. But this JL movie, hey. I can only sigh. You call it "Apollo Resurrection Project" and there is no problem.

I personally consider myself a big fan, so this film review inevitably has all kinds of subjective prejudices in it. But I think some opinions may still represent the pseudo-DC fan group (familiar with the DC universe and characters, but not chasing new ones, not knowing the background of many characters is just the degree of knowledge). Generally speaking, I think this film should be popular among fans/pseudo fans. Looking at the story layout, the reputation among the general non-fan groups who have watched many Marvel movies should not be too good. When Rotten Tomatoes lifts the ban, take a look at the opinions of professional film critics, maybe there will be other sharp angles.
