An anxious and sad movie. After watching, I want to say more and more, so just write a film review. For me, Frances Ha is like another self, the same idealism, the same pursuit of perfect friendship and love, and the same end of an intimate relationship. I saw the sentence "I'm having a Frances Ha moment." in another film review. I think this is where I am now.
Everyone has a dream, thinking that in the future they will embark on a broad road, but ideals and reality are often in conflict, just like Frances, who dreams of becoming a well-known dancer, is knocked down by life time and time again. The gathering of Frances and the middle-class elites is an idealistic heart that is incompatible with secular life. Who has not such a moment that is considered "naive" and "immature"? The most touching thing is the friendship between Frances and Sophie. They used to fantasize about the future of themselves on the same bed. They once showed each other the weakest part of their hearts. They were so close to "I bought special milk for you.""I know where you hide your pills." But such intimate feelings have moved away a little bit under the change of reality, and even if they meet again, they will lose the enthusiasm that they once had-some things will never go back to the past. When Frances asked Sophie: "Don't think of me as the kind of'friend' who eats brunch and chats together", I feel that this is a great reflection of me after losing a friendship that I think will last forever. Maybe soul mate does not exist in real life, and the pursuit of pure friendship and love will only add pain to myself, but I still agree with Frances' attitude, even if it is undoable?

This scene is like a touch of warmth infused in the cold winter, and Shitty's life occasionally has its little luck. Thinking of Sufjan Stevens' lyrics "The past is still the past. Don't back down there is nothing left." in "Should Have Known Better", Frances finally compromised with reality and accepted the office work of the dance company and the departure of friends , Got a happy ending. This may be a dawn of hope for Frances Ha in real life.
