I saw the director's irony in this film. I remember a sentence in the film that said, "She has killed you and is killing me now." This sentence is still fresh in my memory. In fact, many people are like this, indulging in their own lies and being killed by themselves. (Perhaps the director has been satirizing the computer stunts in the film production from beginning to end.)
Victor once got the glory he wanted to have because of lies, but he ignored that the honor and love belonged only to the non-existent Simone, from beginning to end. It has nothing to do with him; Victor was also deceived by his own lies, he deceived the world and himself, unable to extricate himself.
Maybe you are as brave as Victor, for the beauty that does not belong to us; maybe you are as accustomed to pursuing distant and beautiful dreams as the world, and being at ease with your own illusions. Victor's daughter said: "We just don't want to admit to being deceived."
Lies usually come at a painful price. Although this film is a happy ending, in my opinion, this kind of perfection is actually another kind of imperfection.
