A small cost thriller worth watching

In fact, this is a relatively good film. If you relatively lower your expectations, ignore the flaws of the film, and simply enjoy the "surprise" brought to you by the ubiquitous crocodile, this film is still very big. Can meet your expectations to a certain extent.

After all, this is a low-cost film. If you can be sturdy enough to be delivered to you, what kind of bicycle do you need?

The rhythm of the whole film is very tight, and the plot advancement is relatively smooth. As a horror film, there is no obvious pee point. Most of the time in the film, the scene is set in a dark, closed and constantly flooded basement. The father and daughter who have no weapon to defend against the enemy (both were injured in the middle of the film) and the crocodile, who is like a fish in water, are in stark contrast. And the crocodile’s continuous attack and growth (as the water surface increases, the crocodile’s ability is actually continuously strengthened), but also gives the protagonist in the film a kind of continuous struggle in the slowly shrinking living space, and constantly strive for survival. Tension.

I very much doubt that most of the cost of the film is spent on the production of special effects. I personally think that the image of the crocodile in the film is very realistic, which is also one of the highlights of this film. Whether it's a ghostly trail or a direct attack with teeth and claws, it feels very natural and there is no trace of artificiality. Many crocodiles rushed to the scene, and the scene of the role of the rescuer in the moment was also very exciting (although this scene is wonderful, it is not very real. When the crocodile in the natural state is divided, it will show an extremely dynamic death roll...) . In addition, the flood after the bank burst at the end of the film is also very impressive.

Through the realistic environment, biological enemies and scenes, the film restores a closed, dark and extremely dangerous space. The cost of these special effects can be regarded as good steel for the blade.

This film is a typical film with obvious shortcomings and advantages. The biggest disadvantage is that the protagonist's halo is too powerful. And this halo of the protagonist is manifested in many places:

1. The female protagonist swims faster than the crocodile, but she is still worried that her swimming performance will not meet the standard and won't be able to get a scholarship? I think after this incident, the heroine should have broken through the bottleneck of his sports career smoothly. This brings the injury to jump up and down, so much exercise.

2. The injury of the double protagonist is just a display for the audience, and has no effect on the escape action of the hero and the heroine. Just like the scene where the heroine shuts down the bathroom and traps the crocodile, stepping on the shower to climb up, open the door, dive, and close the door in one go, so that the bewildered crocodile doesn’t react at all, so it’s like being injured.

3. The heroine's father is a magical character. When he knocks on a steel pipe to attract rescue attention, the crocodile can't hear him. But when he slammed around to attract the crocodile, and then knocked on the steel pipe, the crocodile would be attracted

In addition, the main creator may feel that just telling the story of escape makes the film a bit thin, so it also arranges the line of father and daughter emotions. But the processing of this line is really limited and strange. A general principle is that in the process of escaping, the most important thing is to sign up. Who is in the mood, has the mind and has time, to exchange emotions. So this line is not very touching, but rather confusing. But as a father, I felt my daughter moved out, but my father was very frustrated with this plot, but felt the same.
