On this late autumn afternoon, after watching this movie, I
can wait patiently to finish watching this not-so-excellent movie. To a large extent, Julia Roberts's reason is in it.
The movie is very simple. Several medical students, out of curiosity, each attempted a near-death experience. In their respective experiences, I have seen some past experiences-experiences that are deep in the subconscious mind or deep in my heart, with a sense of guilt.
After the experiment, they were entangled with the guilt awakened in this near-death state, and hallucinated.
The hallucinations tortured their hearts and their bodies.
In the end, they discovered that only by confronting these entanglement and tormenting their inner fears, and confronting their past sins, can they truly achieve self-salvation and self-liberation.
What the film actually wants to express is self-salvation, but I always feel that the film’s portrayal is not strong enough, and there is a feeling of scratching, as if it can cause some resonance, but these resonances have been wiped out before reaching the realm of sublimation.
6.3? It's a bit high, it's about 6 points.
btw: I personally think that Roberts was not very beautiful when he was young, but he felt like the eldest sister next door, hehe.
