Pride & Prejudice has beautiful posters and heroines that I like. After watching it for the first time, I only felt that the conflict was not intense enough, and the characters were not full enough. I even felt that the film was not long enough, and that the director’s comedic treatment was quite nuanced. When I watched Becoming Jane, I almost wanted to change the film halfway through it. The reason, I can only say that it was too similar to P&P. I regretted watching two identical movies in a row. Out of respect for the film crew (well, I admit that I was too fake--!), I finally finished watching it, and the result is that not only did I have a good feeling for BJ, but also greatly deepened my understanding of P&P. . This also proves again: respect for a movie, there is absolutely no harm.
The film is about to end, and Jane, who has experienced a series of changes, has really started her writing. I guess that the humor of the P&P film is just Jane's ease in the original work, and the plainness of the P&P film is just because of reality.
At the end of the film, the passage where the two reunited many years later is even more embarrassing. At the end of the film, Darcy walks towards Elisabeth from the morning mist that is about to spread out of the screen. Ding-dong's piano is turning from weak to strong like Darcy's figure from far to near. That scene is really exciting. Finally, a series of " After little trouble, "happy ending".
Of course, the graceful British accent makes all joy or sorrow calm or anger, all hot confession or hesitation, and even all arrogance or ignorance, all appear so elegant and calm.
