racism

A 2004 crime drama. The film is set in the city of Los Angeles, a city where multi-ethnic and multi-cultural are intermingled. It tells the story of some racial discrimination problems caused by a common car crash.

A black TV director and his wife were inexplicably insulted by the white police for driving illegally; the police who seemed to be condemned saved the black woman who had been insulted by him at the most critical moment; the honest Persian The shopkeeper almost murdered the Mexican locksmith with tattoos.

Everyone feels that he is a victim of social injustice. Some treat the world passively, some complain about others, some treat people around him indifferently, and some bully the weak. They do not know that they have also become a member of the cycle of social injustice. Fortunately, everyone has a conscience. The bad guys today can also be good guys tomorrow, so there is still hope.

When we are trying to prove ourselves as a race, we will always have compatriots holding back. Life is like a car crash. A cause does not necessarily have an effect.

After living in the United States, I have a deeper feeling about the plot in the film. We know that racial discrimination is not good, and we know that we are also a so-called "vulnerable group", but when we see black people in groups on the street, we still feel scared and disgusted. We obviously abide by the guidelines, but there are still some people who are biased against the yellow race. When we are trying to prove ourselves as a race, we will always have compatriots holding back. Life is like a car crash, there may not be results for a cause

This Oscar wins value and wins beautifully! I love the story of the invisible cloak, it's great!

Crash quotes

  • Lara: It's a really good cloak.

  • Lucien: You watch the Discovery Channel?

    Anthony: Not a lot.

Peter: They got some good shit on that channel.

Lucien: Every night there is a show with somebody shining a little blue light and finding tiny specks of blood splattered on carpets and walls and ceiling fans, bathroom fixtures and special-edition plastic Burger King tray cups. The next thing they show is some stupid redneck in handcuffs who looks absolutely stunned that this is happening to him. Sometimes the redneck is actually WATCHING the Discovery Channel when they break in to arrest him. And he still can't figure out how on earth they could've caught him!

    [pauses]

Lucien: Psst. Do I look like I wanna be on the Discovery Channel?

    Anthony: No.

Lucien: Then get the fuck outta my shop.
