Indescribable sadness

One sentence comment: I think there is at least Jet Li to watch for this film. As a result...

Actually, the problem is not that the fighting scenes are not too enjoyable. The main thing is that all the fights are built in a boring plot, which is unbearable. The screenwriter is really not clever enough. From the beginning of the killer, the audience uncharacteristically provoked gang incidents and turned them back into the nest. It is not difficult to see that the so-called "ranger" is the detective that everyone thought had already sacrificed. As for the setting of the inner ghost, although it is a bit surprising, it is unexpectedly puzzling. It's really hard to understand. What is the mental state of betraying one's own friends but wanting to avenge them?
Jason Statham's performance can hardly reflect the guilt that a friend died tragically because of his "accidental betrayal". This kind of abnormal psychological transformation and inner subtext believe that any actor can do it. The screenwriter needs to be clear that although the plot needs to be twisted and bizarre, at least the protagonist must be a person, and the human psychology is not to the extent that it can be outrageous in the film. An insider who betrays a friend does not think it is the mastermind, but has always wanted to find the killer with the knife to vent his anger. Is it a special escape, or is his brain and mind too slow and a friend who has to "resurrected" warns in front of him: " It was the order of the gang boss to kill my whole family!" The inner ghost suddenly realized what he had done. After a fierce fight, the two protagonists suddenly sat down and complained to each other, and they seemed very awkward. Moreover, the detective played by Jason Statham always took the opportunity to spy on the ambushing sniper behind him, always giving people the feeling of being a dead end, but when the killer was really locked by the sniper, he jumped out to block the bullet? ! Act completely out of logic!
The killer played by Jet Li became taciturn due to the suppressed anger in his heart, and it was matched with Jet Li's cold appearance. The reticent personality just concealed his unpleasant voice and pronunciation, and it complemented each other perfectly. The screenwriter seemed too naive when dealing with the first encounter between the killer and the detective. The plot of the killer and the police detective on the phone was arranged, and it seemed that he wanted to achieve the effect of not seeing him first. As a result, the arrival of the FBI and the wit and true identity of the killer became unsuspicious. If the detective played by Jason Statham is really experienced, he will easily find the warehouse of the Chinese gang to search. The killer played by Jet Li was once a police detective and he was a friend of him. Naturally, he knew his law of handling the case. Are you using such a direct location to talk on the phone? It is really a realistic technique in the mind, lacking Wu Yusen's romanticism, and the image of police detective and killer has not been established. After that, the Chinese gang leader asked the killer why he knew the note would come. The killer replied with great interest: "Experience." If there is no telling story about the phone, this answer will have a pun effect, that is, it will be able to tell the Chinese gang leader. Show that he has "experience in committing crimes" and gain his trust; he can also punally imply the relationship between his identity and the detective. It's more interesting when it's left for the audience's taste at the end. As a result, the film handled the plot in such a straight-forward and stupid way, making it extremely uncoordinated and lacking a harmonious spirit.
As for the other supporting roles, I really don’t understand why American movies and TV series have a strong Cantonese flavor that involves China. In fact, many people in Northeast and Central China have gone abroad. Didn’t they even develop into the film and television industry? When a group of Cantonese speak very awkward Mandarin, it is better to let them speak English.
The handling of the fighting scenes is wonderful, but it's not enough. Both Jason Statham and Jet Li worked with Yuan Kui. The two starring together should be intense, but the film only shows Jason Statham's skills in some paragraphs, and Jet Li's fight with him is only in the ending credits. Those few minutes were nothing but addictive~ Jet Li’s corrective posture was basically imaged, and there was very little substantial real practice. The close-up fighting scenes were quickly cut and processed with short shots, that kind of all-round. Of course, the fight to show the beauty of body movements has disappeared. Jet Li is really old, a bit sad.
The sudden loss of great expectations for Jet Li's film is sad and indescribable.
