This year I joined the school’s EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) Board. The professor of Prime Minister's affairs introduced a new concept, Allyship, to encourage straight white men to speak for the minority. I am very sympathetic, and letting the other party hear the appeal is the first step. True feminism is not arrogant, and it recognizes the difference between men and women, whether the difference comes from biology or sociology, so that women’s voices are encouraged to be heard.
